SUPPORT THE EXPANSION

The East Lake Community Library Foundation Capital Campaign is a community-funded effort supporting the expansion and renovation of our library. This project will create a larger, more flexible space with improved areas for children, teens, and adults; additional study and meeting rooms; enhanced accessibility; and expanded collections and services. By contributing to the campaign, you help build a modern, welcoming library that will serve East Lake families for decades to come.

Why do we need a bigger library?

Expanding our library will enable us to enhance our physical collections, broaden the programs we provide, and increase the number of attendees we can accommodate at special events and popular workshops. A larger library facility will feature private study areas, meeting spaces, quiet reading zones, wider aisles, and more for activities and services. We are excited about the future of the East Lake Community Library and look forward to "Spreading our Wings" as we continue to serve the residents of our community.

What does a bigger library make possible for you?

  • Enlarged Adult Services Department with expanded collections and more seating.

  • Dedicated rooms and spaces for study, meetings, and quiet reading.

  • Larger Community Room to accommodate more events and programs.

  • Enlarged Computer Lab and Business Center.

  • Spacious new Children's Department with activity centers and expanded collection.

  • Expanded parking and more!

Acrylic tiles will be engraved with names and be mounted among others in a beautiful artistic display that adorns the entryway of the new Library. Your legacy tile will become a permanent part of this important building.
